All deposit are non-refundable and must be made prior to an appointment being added to the books and after consultation with the artist if you wish to move forward with the booking process. You and your artist are on the same page with the design that you’ve agreed upon, and you wish to move forward.
All design changed must be communicated to the artist at least 48 hours in advance to have your design ready for your appointment.
We are unable to reserve days longer than 48 hours without a deposit unless agreed upon with your artist.
A deposit is used as a place holder, and is knocked off of your final appointment on the books with your artist unless you wish too book more, in which case the deposit will roll to your next scheduled appointment.
Appointments may be rescheduled with 48 hour notice. In the case of a no show or same day cancellation, you will need to make a new deposit.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late to an appointment without communicating to your artist, a new deposit will need to be made.

Dermsheild
The Dermsheild bandage will be applie prior to leaving the shop if your artist uses the product.
Wishin the first 24 hours, the bandage will file with plasma. It can vary in color, but usually is brown and sludgy looking. This is normal. Some tattoos don’t produce much plasma at all, this is also normal.
Do not leave the bandage on for more the 6 days.
Remove the bandage in the shower. Cleanse the left over plasma off of the tattoo with artist recommended products.
If you spring a leak around the excess edges, clean the area with alcohol, allow to dry and patch.
If the bandage ever peels back and exposes the tattoo, pops or springs a leak near the tattooed area rather than the outside edges - remove the bandage and move on to the after care process.
Never submerged the bandage in water.
After Care
Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
Do not use a washcloth or loofa to clean your tattoo.
Avoid scented products. Use non-scented lotions, and dial antibacterial liquid gold to take care of your new tattoo.
Wash your tattoo 3-5 times daily, more if exposed to dirt or debris.
Once your tattoo is clean, let air dry. Then apply a thin layer of non-scented lotion to the area. Avoid petroleum based ointments.
Do not over moisturize your tattoo.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your artist for further guidance.

Does Broadside Tattoo offer piercings?
Unfortunately, we have decided against having a piercer in shop. While that may change in the future, right now we have no plans to add a piercer to our team.
Does Broadside Tattoo take walk-ins?
While we can’t guarantee an artist will be available same day, we would love to help you get something scheduled if we can’t accommodate same day. We have three artist who are responsible for managing their own booking. The easiest way to find out if we have time for a walk in that day is to call the shop. If you’re interested in a certain artist, contacting them directly would be advised.
How long does it take to respond?
Each artist operates differently, so turn around time can range. We try to get around to emails as quickly and efficiently as possible on our days off and we thank everyone for their patience!
Can artist send finished designs?
We do not send any design online. Usually we block extra time to make changes the day of, but we have no problem setting up an additional consultation for viewing of the design before your appointment! Just let us know so we can have it ready for you!
